| Love my sisters! |
So funny story from this week. This will probably be one of those "you had to be there" moments but I'm still going to write it cause I laugh every time I talk about it :) So at district meeting this past week, as part of our district meetings we have to review a medical document that has been sent out by our mission nurse. We were sitting in a circle and going around reading the paragraphs, starting with our district leader and then all the sisters. Once it gets to the other Elder, our district leader immediately jumped in reading the next sentence, not even realizing he skipped his companion. We were all quietly giggling but he didn't even notice. So, he pauses in the middle of the sentence and has the most priceless confused look on his face. We're all looking around at each other like "Does he realize?" and then he says "Oh ok." and keeps going! He finishes the rest of the paragraph, and pauses for a long time again with the same confused face! We were dying, like "Ok NOW he gets it." But he said "Oh, I thought it was talking about this, but now I get it." We were all like WHAT! Are you kidding! Haha we couldn't hold it in, and he looks up and was still confused, he's like "Okayyy? Sister Broadbent do you want to go next?" And then he finally realizes. We were dying for 5 minutes! Hahaha yeah y'all had to be there :)))

| Sister Bell left the zone, so we had to get one last picture! :( |
Also just a few hours ago we had a sad/tender experience. So each P-day us 4 sisters that live in the same apartment go and get groceries together. When you go to the grocery store at the same time each week, people start to recognize you :) this one lady that works as a cashier that we have met is the sweetest and always loves talking to us. She has had some contact with the church in the past, and we just get along with her so well that we try and go down her line each week! The past few weeks we haven't been able to see her, and today as we were walking out we saw her coming out of the bathroom, and she had tears running down her face. Her mom received some bad news about her health :( all we could do was hug her and listen to her, and before she left Sister Duke handed her a Plan of Salvation pamphlet. It is the little things like these that makes me so grateful to be out here on a mission, to meet different people with different challenges and at least just share my testimony that there is hope and share the love of Christ to them :)
We had a lesson with David this week! Wow, let me just say, it was a powerful lesson. We initially were talking about the Holy Ghost, but we kind of transitioned into talking about the Atonement when our member Jessica shared a personal experience of how the Atonement has healed her. LIKE OH MY GOODNESS. I was about to start bawling cause we were sitting among 2 amazing people who have gone through so much, but they understand the Atonement. It was exactly what David needed to hear. And he came to church again this Sunday! :)))
This missionary work is seriously the best. If any of y'all are thinking of going on a mission, whether you're a youth or thinking of going as a couple, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
