HALF WAY!

Hello everyone! 

Mi compañera :) 

Can you believe it?? Tomorrow I hit my half way mark and I get to celebrate by going to zone conference :) haha I'm so excited! When I first got here to Texas I was thinking that the mission was going to go by slow, but nope! 9 more months and I'll be crying cause I don't ever want to leave this beautiful state! 

Last p-day we went to Texas Roadhouse with all the sisters for Sister Duke's birthday. So now I can finally say I had Texas roadhouse IN TEXAS. :) 

This week we tried going by some dropped investigators, and we had a cool little miracle happen! We were looking for one dropped investigator, and when the guy answered the door he was confused when we were asking for someone named Shawn. Turns out he is a spanish speaker named Juan and he was SO NICE! He's here with 5 of his roommates for work. And they are all from the same country as Indira!!! It was kind of hard to set up an appointment with his busy schedule, but we are going to stop by tonight and hopefully things work out! 

Also, happy Father's day yesterday to the best dad out there! The most loving, supportive, and christlike guy I know! Not to mention he's got a good sense of humor :) love you dad! 

Sister Duke told me a really cute saying a few months ago that I have continued to ponder on while being on my mission. Serving as a full-time missionary is a wonderful time where sisters are on a "daddy-daughter" date with Heavenly Father! I know Heavenly Father knows us all and loves us all. HE IS OUR FATHER! Through prayer, I know that He truly answers us and can talk to us, and He is closer to us than we think. I love you all and I love my Heavenly Father! I'm gonna go back to my daddy daughter date now ;)
