SHE SAID YES!

Feeding Stella
We had Zone Conference this week, which was so good! I've only been to 2, but I always feel peaceful and motivated when I come out of them. We talked a lot about being virtuous in our thoughts, always keeping our minds focused on the work and being diligent in everything we do. So yeah, good stuff! Doing the Lord's work is so awesome :)

So President Monson passed away, that is so crazy. I remember we were in the church Wednesday morning before our lesson with Tiffany when it popped up in an email from our mission President. I guess the feeling we all had was relieved, in a way. It was just so sad to not see him at conference this past year and to hear how his health was declining. But now he is with his sweet wife and resting from his labors. What an amazing man he was, he was Prophet all while I was growing up, so I am super super grateful for the example he was to everyone and his faithful service to the Lord.

2 awesome miracles this week in Helotes area! We were doing some contacting in the afternoon one day, and we stopped by Fred's house. He's met with missionaries a few times but there wasn't much progress. So we asked him if he wanted a Book of Mormon and he said no. We talked to him a little bit more and talked about the Book of Mormon, and before we left we asked him again if he wanted a Book of Mormon, and he said yes! That night we also met with Lindsey, who is the cutest lady ever! She has a 2 year old and her husband is a less active, so we got talking to them for a while and was telling Lindsey about the exercise class some ladies in the ward do since she has been trying so hard to come to church activities, and Lindsey all of a sudden was like "Okay. So how do I go about being a member? Do I need to take lessons or get baptized or go to church?" We were like whaaaat?? We could tell her husband didn't like that question haha :)

And GUESS WHAT? Indira said yes to baptism! I am seriously so so SO excited for her! We have only taught her for a month, but I have seen so much change in her within this month. She said that in our lesson last time, she felt the Spirit so strongly and that one of her friends reassured her that the decision to be baptized is her own, not anyone else's. She was just beaming in our lesson, it was such an amazing experience to see in that moment how the gospel can change someone's life. This work truly is so amazing and this gospel brings so much happiness!

I love y'all!
